i know owning a mac cost (that's what they say), yes it is! but this beautiful machine among others really gave me good time and return what i invested on this. i got my black macbook july 2007 and since that time i havnt remember that i reinstalled it or formatted it. in my pc days, at least a month or in 2 months that there should be an instance that i should be formatting it. i asked my friend who had a dell laptop that he bought from the states same time that i got my laptop and asked him on how many times did he formatted. and he did formatted it almost 4 times.
anyway, if you are not that geeky or teeky on computers and just want to use the computer for school works, then get a mac for yourself. less headache.
now i have a macbook and an iMac. so what's under my mac that made my day complete or gives me what i want. my macbook run on tiger and the iMac run on leopard os.
the Quicksilver!

The QuickSilver index almost all your files for a quick searching especially the applications. i don't put a lot of icons on my dock. i don't like revealing that i have all the apps.. cracked and not! with ctrl+space, this will give me a box to type directly what i want to open or search for what i want to look. this is the best app that i have that i want to have on a windows system. but can't find any.
for work, the power of BBedit!
for my programming, i used BbEdit! of course its a powerfull text editor that i used for creating websites and it doesn't sucks!
the IMs.

i'm not a chatter guy. i don't chat most of the time but only for families, close friends and for work. Adium is the best i have. having a lot of IM accounts on different network Yahoo!, GoogleTalk, MSN Live, ICQ, AIM and Facebook, Adium logs me instantly to all those accounts that i have and shows all my buddies in 1 window. the only drawback that i missed on this Adium is the webcam options. i don't do video calls often anyway.
I have Yahoo! Messenger for Mac, Colloquy for mirc.
the Firefox and all its addons!

Who cares but the best browser there is, is the Firefox! i do use Safari, its a good one but only for browser testing! but firefox, it has everthing! i even wrote the draft of this blog using the Scribe Addons for Firefox. Theres a lot of good features that firefox offered to me and never did they failed my expectation. the Addons just rock so hard! most of the addons that i have are for web development, i have foxmark for bookmark sync, digg, scribe for blogging if i feel to blog and there is more!
the BluePhone elite!
Bluephone elite helps me every time i'm in work! but this one works only on my macbook since n73 firmware has bluetooth problem syncing on leopard os. Nokia hasn't released any help yet! the bluephone is a text messaging or a phone on my macbook. i can send fast blazing text using the keyboard. i saves all the texts eversince i installed it! thousands of it. i even had 1000+ unread messages on my phone because i read and send messages through my macbook. and this is on the softwares installed on my macbook that i bought! its very usefull!
the Front Row
this with click on the remote shows me all my movie collection and play them while lying on bed. when i'm bored i watch all movies on my iMac from bed and just watch the intro and switch again to other movies until i finish all the intro! so in a day a total of 0 movies but all the intros i watched! lols.
The iTunes and Last.FM Scrobbler

I have collection of music. i have an iPod Touch and itunes just complete it! and partner it with a scrobbler that logs all the music that i listen to and scrobbled it to my last.fm account (http://last.fm/user/dennesabing). since my collection are in my macbook and i don't want to duplicate my library or have a copy of the library to the iMac, mac makes things easier to share my library from the macbook.
